 This band is another project of Bloodless (Crown Of Worms, Bloodless, ex-Disinter), the band is actually formed by Ghoulfist, Mutilation Hammer (ex-Crown Of Worms) and the mentioned Bloodless… Penetrator Hammer delivers a primitive, quite Nordic sounding savage Black Metal, with a hellish atmosphere created by the strident guitar riffs and a strong and consistent drumming (which sometimes reach an unexpected protagonism). The voices are really cruel and ripping, mid to low tuned shrieks and growls, quite similar to Ferniz (Darkthrone) vocal tone… The whole music moves between the mid paced velocity and blasting fast parts. Penetrator Hammer sounds considerably more extreme than any other projects/bands of Mr. Bloodless, this band seems to focus their music in the straight Black Metal, just listen to “Impaling The Heart of the Enemy”, a really cruel and raw piece of Black Metal, with morbid, killer guitar lines in the finest vein of Darkthrone, somewhere between the sound of “A Blaze in a Northern Sky” and “Transilvanian Hunger”…In fact, I think if you enjoy “Transilvanian Hunger” you will certainly worship this demo tape, it work captures the atmosphere of the “True” Nordic Black Metal and complements it with the poisonous “True” South American Metal sound… Maybe the originality is not their strong side, but their music is undoubtedly a delight for any Black Metal worshiper… (AP)
