Mistery Of Winter (Solitude Productions)

 This is the reissue by Solitude Prod. of the first and only demo of this band, this edition includes an intro (one of the highest points of this recording) and a Katatonia cover (not a big fan of that band...) as bonus tracks.

 Ocean of Sorrow plays doom/death influenced by early Paradise Lost and similar. The sound is rough, primitive and cold, nice compositions (there’re good ideas here) but still are much to polish, (like some melodies that sounds too dissonant, I don’t know if that was the intention of the band but I think that ruins a little the atmosphere) as a demo is pretty good stuff and I’m sure we can expect great material from this guys in the future. (I think this is one of my shortest reviews haha... but I really think there’s not much to say) (A.R.)
