Lento Procedere Prima Del Sonno (Trazeroeuno)

Asofy is an Italian one man band, formed in 2000 only by an obscure figure called Tryfar and “Lento Procedere Prima Del Sonno” is the band second release and follow-up of their debut work called “ebYm”, also released by Trazeroeuno several years ago… Deep, eclectic and highly Atmospheric Black/Doom Metal is what Asofy delivers here; an intense blend of Doom Metal tempos, Black Metal buzzing guitars, evil vocals, disturbing melodies and wicked atmospheres… The four tracks this work contains are unique pieces of intelligently composed music; the disturbingly serene melodies are mixed with obscure and evil metallic passages, where the infernal vocalizations of Tryfar are complemented by a hypnotic and obscure (yet strangely beautiful) musicianship. The guitar driven atmospheres are definitely the leading element, contributing enormously with the whole album intensity and profundity… “Lento Procedere Prima Del Sonno” is a highly entrancing work, even when barely exceeds the 30 minutes, each song seems to be carefully created to drive you into a deep catatonic trance… which also becomes completely addictive after a couple of listenings… Despite of being the band’s second work, this album shows an incredible musical maturity, making me think about an original mix between Dolorian and Ulver… Are you getting the picture? The whole album presentation is top-notch; with a sort of digipack-like slim package and a pro-printed Cd-r, as an interesting sample of the band and label’s professionalism and commitment… The album’s production is also flawless, every element of this magnetic opus is completely and clearly hearable, allowing you to get immerse into this hallucinating black trance… I’m definitely impressed by “Lento Procedere Prima Del Sonno”; this is unquestionably a high level work… This album is not only recommendable for those into the atmospheric side of Black or Doom Metal, this work is definitely recommendable for anyone who enjoys the intelligent, yet simple compositions with high doses of obscurity and originality… Killer work!!
