 Swedish Black Metal band, playing Norwegian Black Metal, this is what we got here, ARMAGEDDA is highly influenced by Norwegian bands of early ’90, specially Darkthone, the same feeling, production, sound and ideologies. It makes this album pretty desirable for the Black Metal purists. This album moves into the mid to slow tempos, with a pretty weird guitar sound, mid drum’s rhythms, an infernal voice taken from the depths of some Darkthrone vinyl (jeje). This band chose the mid paced Darkthrone way; this is an “original” detail, considering the number of Darkthrone worshipers (clones?) who plays at full speed. I’ve got nothing more to say, this album is just that; Swedish (Norwegian) mid paced Black Metal, nothing original but pretty enjoyable for those old school sound worshipers.(AP)
