Lost Sounds Depraved (Insidious Poisoning Records)

 “Lost Sounds Depraved” is the first and only release at the time of this one man band formed by Krof, Maleficum Orgia’s vocalist/drummer… (Yes, Aigro Mucifelam means Maleficum Orgia written backwards). This work was actually recorded back in 2001 – 2002 but wasn’t released until now as a Cd and LP under Insidious Poisoning Records… The music delivered at this debut solo effort could be described as infernal and obscure Black Fucking Metal, where the chaotically fast drumming drives the whole album music through infernal and devastating scenarios where only death and chaos reigns. The sharpened and hypnotic riffs creates trance-like atmospheres of disharmonic desolation, there’s no rest during the 38 minutes this album lasts. Krof’s infernal and blackish vocalisations enormously contribute with the whole album’s evil and depraved aura with his extremely ripping and possessed tone. There’re also some strange sonic effects here and there, especially notorious at the sixth track, adding some disturbing tension to the yet tense and dense equation with some really good results. “Lost Sounds Depraved” consists in seven untitled tracks with no printed lyrics increasing the occultist feeling that surrounds this work, the whole production here was quite a surprise, the album’s sound is completely powerful and pretty clear in contrast with the extremely dirty and harsh music, resulting in an interesting and, why not, original mix. With this devastating debut Aigro Mucifelam definitely shows a huge potential as a band and clearly shows the highly remarkable composing skills of Krof. The extreme inhumanity, chaos and evil atmospheres that reigns over this album makes of “Lost Sounds Depraved” a guaranteed delight for any true Black Metal diehard… so if you’re into relentless harsh and chaotic Black Metal you better get this one way ticket to hell, there's no way you can be disappointed… (AP)
