De Berg Van Verdoemenis
(Self
Released)
What a strange album…an atmospheric,
pagan (?) extreme Ambient Drone (Doom
Metal?)…with no vocals, just dark
ambiances produced with low distorted
guitars and keyboard, the sound of the
last one is really synthetic, like midi
sound, but definitely it’s not bad, is
like a metallic doom version of Burzum’s
latest works, mixed with some Thou
Shalt Suffer’s
(Somnium) atmospheres, not to mention
the obious Trollmann Av Ildtoppberg
influences, really…strange, but I like
it. Is like a soundtrack for a
psychopath’s nightmare, yes, THAT dark.
This album takes the listener to a
(dark) trip into the darkest places of
our own minds, I mean; you can’t listen
this album and don’t think about walking
alone into some dark forest, feeling the
king of all darkness. The concepts
behind the songs are really complex;
this album is an history about, forests,
darkness, desolation and death. This
album makes me take a deep breath into
the night. (AP) |
